How LED Strip Lighting Enhances Interior Design Renderings with Both Aesthetic and Functional Value

Not only renderings an essential tool to present design concepts, but also the best way for clients to “see”what their project will look like at the end. For today, we have decided a rendering to share with you of an interior design implementation from one of our Swiss clients. This would help you look at different styles and utilitarian needs that may inspire your perfect home environment.

Client Requirements

The client required 400 meters of Addressable RGBW 24V LED Strips to decorate the ceiling in hospital November,2023. Specifically, the project encompasses lighting for a combined total of eight areas with breakdowns including:

LED Strip:18 watts/meter High Lumen RGB+W (3000K), 24V,Flux Illumine :3280 lm/m

Connection Method: The LED strips in each zone are interconnected and connected as a double-row parallel mode, for higher brightness.

Area Length:

o Area 1:21 × 2m o Area 2:26 × 2m

o Area 3:11 × 2m o Area 4:11 × 2m

o Area 5:14 × 2m o Area 6:19 × 2m

o Area 7:54 × 2m o Area 8:14 × 2m

Client wants every zone wired independently so all the 8 areas will have sycronized control and auto you can do threw mobile app. The ceiling is done so we don't have the ability to run wiring from every room. For this reason, individual but coordinated control is necessary.

Design Solution

Through extensive interviews with the engineers, we provided an elaborate lighting control solution according to customer requirements. We have chosen DMX512 RGBW LED strips for an illumination based on advancements in digital architecture. Here is the plan:

Solution Configuration:

LED Strips : DMX512 RGBW x 400 meters; Controller: 1pcs U10 Main Controller; Remote Transceivers: 9pcs BC-870 (1 transmitter,8 receivers); As shown in the sketch.

Why This Solution Was Chosen

DMX512 24V RGBW LED Strips — There are extensive color mixing and dimming functions with these strips, which offer an infinite variety of lighting effects. High Color With High Brightness Control and performed extremely well to meet the clients high visual requirements.

U10 Main Controller: The efficient operation of the lighting control system and dimming are controlled by this controller.

Wireless Transceivers: We went with 9 BC870 wireless transmitters/receivers for great flexibility and robustness of your system. Wireless control systems benefitsThe use of a wireless remote control system is to simplify wiring, reduce the complexity in construction work and improve overall reliability status on your system. One BC-870 unit serves as the transmitter, transmitting signals continuously to all other receivers that ensure color and brightness in sync with each LED strip. The remaining eight BC-870 units act as receivers, designed for optimal coverage and signal strength.

Tasked with a client that has high standards for visual precision, the devised lighting control solution offers impeccable performance accuracy while addressing concerns of installation and reliable system function. Thanks to the DMX512 RGBW LED strips and a sophisticated wireless operation, we achieve precise control of lighting effects being able to manage the system smoothly.

Installation and Debugging

The client accepted the products and made of perform installation and testing. At first they followed our installation guide—and setup all devices per one by one. The client wired and configured LED strips, wireless transceivers and the main controller which were installed next. They then connected the wireless transmitter and to receivers so that each area light could signal properly and be paired.

Installation Steps

The Site Survey The client conducted a site survey of the hospital ceiling ensuring that there are LED strips for all retrofit luminaires and proper power connectionsaskets.

Installation: As per the Design Write up sheet fix LED strips on each area as shown through design drawing and check for proper fixing point available, Connectivity of strip junction right connected.

System Debugging: Remove the newly installed fixture and arrange it to design specifications, as well sporadically test your new control system.

1)U10 Controller The client can install the software and do their own programming, or we write the program as requested to controller itself by customer.

2) We control the system after programming using a mobile app. You may download the app from the App Store (iOS) by simply searching for RemotePro Android (download the app from official site)

3) The BC-870 wireless transceiver is connected to the U10 controller, this device acts as a signal emitter. We just need to switch DIP for transmitters, like sending signals.

4)The other eight BC-870 wireless transceivers, one for each area, will work as Signal Receivers.

5)The result produced by a couple of effects we wrote, which is the effect that lighting synchronize.

Post-Completion Renderings

The following renders were shared with the client upon completion of their project.

So here I have shown you guys, the actual installation results of led strips and how they look in terms of lighting brightness,color changes & overall visual effect.

Conclusion

These after-the-fact renderings both accurately reflect the new manifestation of what was a dated space, but also illustrate effectively how compelling our design solution looked when enacted. Meanwhile Siergey work with the client was rewarded in their great delight at how fantastic the finished product is, as well and our very professional and orderly process of designing installing & commissioning.
