With the continuous pursuit of higher visual comfort and spatial aesthetics in lighting design, traditional 12 volt led lighting strips gradually fall short of modern demands due to visible light spots and uneven brightness. The Mono COB Dotless LED Strip uses COB technology to create a continuous, soft linear light source, providing a perfect lighting experience without light spots or dark areas.

Whether it's LED light strip for room applications requiring bright, uniform light, furniture groove lighting with soft indirect light, or display cabinet lighting to highlight products, the Mono COB LED strip can easily handle them all. It is also ideal for architectural contour lighting, shelf edge lighting, backlighting for signs and walls, and many other application scenarios, including LED light strips for mirror lighting.

Customizable COB LED Strip for Room and Under Cabinet Lighting

From commercial spaces (retail, hotels, offices) to home interior design (living rooms, bedrooms, custom projects), and tailored lighting solutions, the Mono COB Dotless LED Strip delivers high color rendering, linear aesthetics, and professional lighting effects, creating a more refined linear effect with quality.

What is Mono COB dotless led strip?

The Mono COB Dotless LED Strip is a monochrome COB strip LED light strip that uses COB technology to directly bond the LED chip onto the circuit board and encapsulate it with a phosphor resin layer. This process forms a high-density continuous light source, achieving a 180° wide-angle, particle-free light effect, completely eliminating the light spots and dark areas typical of traditional LED light strips.

Product Features

1. Wide Lighting Angle
Traditional light strips typically have a 120° lighting angle. When installed in ceilings or cabinets, the edges often have dark spots. The Mono COB Dotless LED Strip provides a broader light coverage, with light smoothly extending to the edges of the space, reducing dark areas and visual gaps.

2. High-Density, Even Lighting without Light Spot Defects

Through high-density chip packaging and continuous phosphor coating technology, the COB strip LED achieves ultra-even linear lighting. When used with aluminum profiles, it presents a pure, spotless light effect, making it an ideal choice for high-end lighting designs. In contrast, 2835 SMD light strips, even when paired with diffusers, still show noticeable light spots in shallow aluminum profiles, which fail to meet the demands of refined lighting.

3. Premium 22AWG Pure Copper Wire

The Mono COB Dotless LED Strip uses 22AWG pure copper wire, which ensures more stable current transmission than standard copper-clad aluminum wire. This prevents brightness degradation or damage caused by heat buildup in the wiring.

Accessories

In practical applications, to maximize the performance of COB LED light strips and ensure easy installation, the following accessories are commonly used:

Power Supply: It is recommended to use a constant voltage power supply (12V or 24V) to ensure stable brightness and long-term operational reliability.

Aluminum Profile: Used for heat dissipation and light diffusion, extending the lifespan of the LED light strips and making the light more uniform and soft.

Connectors:

  • Intermediate Connector: Used to connect two segments of the LED light strip, enabling seamless light transmission and stable electrical connections.
  • End Connector: Provides a secure connection, preventing short circuits and ensuring that the power supply connection is safe and reliable.
  • Angle Connector: Suitable for installations at corners or turns, helping the light strips flexibly connect in complex layouts.

COB LED Strip User Guide

1. Can i cut led strip lights & how to cut led strip lights

Yes, you can cut the LED light strips.
Look for the cutting marks on the strip. For 5V strips, usually one light is cut at a time; for 12V, it's typically three lights per cut; and for 24V, six lights per cut. Always cut along the marked cutting lines on the strip (usually indicated by a small scissor icon or copper dots).
Note: Do not randomly cut through the LED strip or its circuitry, as this can damage the strip.
If you have specific requirements for the cut ends, we recommend using the flexible LED strip that allows for arbitrary cuts, offering more flexibility and convenience.

2. how to connect led strip lights

There are two main ways to connect LED light strips: soldering and connectors.
Soldering securely joins the copper pads on the LED strip with solder, making it ideal for high-power or permanent installations.
Connectors, on the other hand, are more convenient, especially for DIY or temporary projects. Simply clip the LED strip into the copper tabs. However, connectors may not be as stable as soldering for long-term use.

3. how to install led strip lights

Measurement and Planning: Determine the installation length and position.
Clean the Surface: Ensure the surface is clean and smooth.
Attach the LED Strip: Most LED light strips come with 3M adhesive on the back for easy attachment.
Connect to Power: Connect the LED strip to the compatible power supply or controller.
Test: After powering on, check if the light is evenly distributed and ensure there are no breaks.
Fix in Place: Use clips or aluminum profiles if necessary to secure the strip and improve stability and heat dissipation.
