The assembly is then sealed at both ends to form a complete neon strip.
Proper installation of the end caps is critical to waterproofing performance: adhesive is applied inside the end caps and around the exterior of the neon strip connector before the caps are fixed in place. Once treated, the strip delivers effective waterproofing suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor environments.
(2) Extrusion Molding
Integrated extrusion molding is a process where the LED strip and silicone material are extruded together directly during production, forming a complete, unified strip structure. This method provides superior waterproofing performance.
  • Raw Material Mixing: Liquid silicone (Part A and Part B) is blended in the correct ratio, with a diffusion agent added to promote even light distribution and reduce glare.
  • Extrusion: The machine extrudes the mixed silicone through a specialized mold. Simultaneously, the pre-assembled LED strip is fed into the mold, where the silicone encapsulates it to form an integrated neon tube.
  • High-Temperature Curing: The extruded strip passes through a high-temperature tunnel oven, where the silicone rapidly vulcanizes, hardens, and sets into its final form.
  • Cutting & Spooling: The finished strip is automatically cut to the customer's required length (e.g., 5 meters per reel) and wound onto reels for packaging.
